Purchasing Property in NSW

 

Purchase             $1,350.00 plus GST and Disbursements

 

Common disbursements for a purchase are:-

Section 603 Certificate – Council Rates

Section 66 Certificate – Sydney Water

Roads & Maritime Services - Current Proposals

Disbursements are normally around $300.00

 

Other expenses incurred when purchasing are:-

PEXA Online Settlement Fee      $123.97

(this fee is incurred by everyone in NSW that purchases or sells property)

 

Pest and Building inspection Report, if required

 

Strata Inspection report, if required

 

Bank fees - your broker or banker will explain fees to be deducted by your bank, these vary between the different banks

 

Registration of the Transfer and your Mortgage ($154.20 each, normally deducted by the bank)

 

For a purchase $275.00 is requested upfront and the balance payable on completion.

 

Stamp Duty is payable on a purchase unless you are eligible for the First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme
